To become the great hero he hopelessly wants to become, he will now join the ranks of one of the highest-rated “Hero Academies” in the country: U.A. Unfortunately, Izuku Midoriya was one of the few. Eighty percent of the world's population wield special abilities, known as 'quirks,' which have given many the power to make their childhood dreams of becoming a superhero a reality. This did not stop Izuku from pursuing his dream, a dream of becoming a great hero like the legendary All-Might. One day, a four-year-old boy came to a sudden realization: the world is not fair. Izuku was one of the rare cases where he was born with absolutely no unique powers. People are not born equal, a realization that four-year-old Izuku Midoriya faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. He is scouted by All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, who shares his quirk with Midoriya after recognizing his potential, and later helps to enroll him in a prestigious high school for heroes in training. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers (called Quirks) in a world where they have become commonplace, but who still dreams of becoming a hero himself.
